If you haven’t rented a storage unit in the past and you’re not familiar with the different options and corresponding capabilities that can meet your needs, then the following practical guide will help you choose the right storage size. The guide records both the storage capacity in square and cubic meters, per storage size, as well as some of the common items that can practically be stored in each case.
The available storage unit sizes at boxstorage.gr are:
- No1: from 1.3 to 2 square meters or up to 5.5 cubic meters
- Νο2: from 2.4 to 3 square meters or up to 8 cubic meters
- No2: from 3.4 to 4.4 square meters or up to 12 cubic meters
- No4: from 4.6 to 5 square meters or up to 13.75 cubic meters
- No5: from 5.8 to 7 square meters or up to 19 cubic meters
Storage Space No1
In this storage unit, which is the size of a telephone booth, it is possible to store small items in cardboard boxes or plastic containers of various sizes, seasonal items (e.g., Christmas tree, beach chairs, umbrellas), file folders, and student textbooks.
Storage Space No2
In this storage unit, you can store individual pieces of small furniture (e.g., an armchair, a floor lamp, bedside tables, lampshades, etc.), household appliances (e.g., kitchen appliances, washing machines, etc.), in addition to the items and capabilities mentioned in Storage Space No1.
Storage Space Νο3
In this storage unit, you can store larger furniture items (e.g., a single bed with a mattress, a small bookcase, a sideboard/cabinet), sports equipment (e.g., a bicycle, a surfboard, etc.), your car’s roof box, in addition to the items and capabilities mentioned in Storage Space No1 and No2.
Storage Unit Νo4
In this storage unit, you can store furniture/items from a child’s or student’s room, small business equipment, a double mattress, or medium-sized furniture (e.g., two-seater sofa, etc.), in addition to the items and capabilities mentioned in Storage Spaces No1 to No3.
This space is the ideal solution for you if you want to renovate your home (e.g., paint the children’s room) and don’t have space for your belongings, or for a student who needs to store furniture and items from their studio apartment (e.g., due to attending a 6-month ERASMUS program at a university abroad) and wants to save on rent costs.
Storage Space Νο5
In this storage space, you can store your living room furniture (e.g., three-seater sofa, dining table with 8 chairs) or your master bedroom furniture (with a king-size bed, double-door wardrobe, etc.), in addition to the items and possibilities mentioned in Storage Spaces No1 to No4.
